Newsletter
The Mt.Tron Mail is a newsletter published by the Mt.Tron University of Peace Foundation three to four times yearly. Aimed at all those interested in the establishment of the Mt.Tron University of Peace it is issued both in Norwegian and in English. The very first issue was published in June 1998. The Mt.Tron Mail provides updates about the latest developments of the Mt.Tron University of Peace project. Contributions from the public of positive articles with relevance to the project are welcome.
A yearly "subscription of support" costs NOK 350,- (US$ 50,- UK£ 35,- € 45,-) and helps to meet the general office expenses of the Foundation. Subscription can be ordered from . The Mt.Tron Mail is published on this web page in PDF format only to registered subscribers. A subscription gives access to all previous editions from 1998 up to the present day. Should anyone wish to receive hard copy printed editions on paper by post, please contact us on shanti@tronuni.org about this. All registered subscribers will be notified by email at every publication.
You will need to create a user account on this website to be able to subscribe to The Mt.Tron Mail. This gives you a username and password to login to the site to read our newsletter and possibly other publications. Follow the steps below to subscribe to the newsletter:
- In the “User Login” box to the right, click on the “Create new account”.
- On this page, fill in a desired username and your email address and click on the “Create new account” button. This will create a user account for you and send an email to the email address you specified above. This email will also contain an automatically generated password which you can use to login to the Mt.Tron University of Peace website.
- Check your email to get your password.
- Now go to http://tronuni.org/content/newsletter and enter your username and password in the “User Login” box on the right to login to the website.
- Once you are logged in, you will see the “PayPal Subscription” box with the white “SUBSCRIBE” button. Click on this button to pay for the subscription. You will now be sent to PayPal who are handling all payments on this website.
- If you already have a PayPal account, please enter the details to complete the payment. Otherwise, you will be requested to provide details along with your credit card information to create a PayPal account. Please note the PayPal date format with the month before the day, thus: MM/DD/YYYY.
- Once you have entered the details, you will need to confirm the payment of the fee. Once this is done, you will be sent back to our website.
- Back on the website you can go to the “Newsletter” page where you will be able to see all the newsletter documents which you may then read online or download to your computer.
The subscription is a recurring yearly fee which PayPal will automatically deduct from your credit card every year. If you wish to end the subscription you can at any time login to your user page and click on the link “Unsubscribe”.
Should there occur any mistake registration (f.inst. double registration) the payment will be refunded to the registrar minus NOK 12 which is the registration fee to PayPal, by request to the editor.
